BEMS Guidance

The Guidance office at Bamberg-Ehrhardt Middle School provides students with a comprehensive school counseling program that facilitates students in becoming motivated, self-directed, and confident life-long learners. It is my goal to work collaboratively with students, parents, teachers, administrators, and other educational stakeholders to meet the academic, career, and the social/emotional development of all students.

The school counselor is available to serve both students and parents/guardians through a variety of services:
    *Registrations/withdrawals
    *Student Records
    *Academic Planning
    *Career Counseling/Development
    *Individual and Group Counseling
    *Crisis Counseling and Referrals
    *Attendance Intervention
*Liaison between students, parents/guardians, teachers, and administrators

Guidance Office hours are as follows:
     --Mondays---Thursdays from 7:30am--3:30pm
    -- Fridays from 7:30am--3:00pm

I have an open door policy. Students may visit the Guidance office during regular office hours as long as he/she has a pass from a teacher.  Students that are referred to the Guidance office by teachers will be seen by appointment.
